I was delighted to have my print, 'Winter's Parish', selected by Mychael Barratt RE to receive a prize in the PMC's Natural World exhibition which can be viewed online from 15th May onwards. Members were asked to respond to the theme of the Natural World as a pre-cursor to the Ecologies of Change exhibition in September - a collaboration between printmakers from Australia and The Printmakers Council. Supported by the PMC and the Royal Over Seas League, the exhibition will be shown at ROSL in central London.

Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition 2020

10/04/2020

It's a great pleasure to have my work selected again for the Royal Scottish Academy's annual exhibition, which for the first time in its history, is available to view entirely on-line. The RSA Annual Exhibition is the most extensive exhibition of contemporary art and architecture in Scotland. Having been a mainstay of the academy's calendar since its inception 193 years ago, the Annual Exhibition has evolved over the years, providing a platform for Scottish art alongside international artists, often including topical or political elements, to give an uncensored, independent voice to artists.

It was a lovely surprise to be awarded the John Purcell Paper Prize at the Ochre Print Studio Summer Exhibition. The standard of submissions this year was extremely high, and exhibiting alongside so many talented printmakers made receiving the prize even more special. Thanks to Ochre's tireless team of organisers and volunteers, and to artist Mary Branson for selecting my work on behalf of John Purcell Paper.

Loop Exhibition

14/02/2018

I am delighted to be taking part in the annual LOOP exhibition at Bankside Gallery on the South Bank in September 2018. LOOP is an informal co-operative of artists with a background in print. Some of these artists have exhibited internationally, set up print studios, or pursued teaching careers, while others have continued to work in their own studios. A few newcomers have recently completed a Printmaking MA at Camberwell College. LOOP is an evolving platform that has presented some of the best in new printmaking.

20/11/2015

The PV for the Printmakers Council's '50 Years of Artist's Prints' Exhibition at Bankside Gallery was buzzing with people. A huge turnout of members and friends celebrated the innovative and the traditional in printmaking, by a broad spectrum of artists from 1965 to the present. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of 110 Mini prints from current members to Gill Saunders, Senior Curator of Prints at the Victoria and Albert Museum.
